The National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) and the Rail and Modern Transports Research Center (RMT) co-organized a research exhibition in  METALEX March 2022.

In this event, the following four research works had been presented:

1. The development of a rail repairing method using the Laser Cladding Technique

2. The database of steels used rail transport system in Thailand

3. The development of railway replacement parts for use in Thailand

4. The development of rail track inspection method using machine vision technique

       The theme of METALEX March this year was “Smart Metalworking”.  This concept is in line with Thai government’s Smart Factory and Industry 4.0 policies that aims to enhance the capabilities of entrepreneurs with new knowledge, as well as coordinate a network of trade partners through seminars, business matching services, network building activities, and METALEX Digital Community.
