We create a body of knowledge and develop technology of medical materials and devices that are suitable to use in Thailand in order to replace imported materials from abroad and increase the quality of life of Thai people. There are research guidelines as follows.

• Materials/equipment to repair or replace bones and teeth
• Wound healing and skin replacement materials
• Tissue engineering and interactions between cells and materials at the in vitro level and in the body of living things
