We create a body of knowledge and develop technology of medical materials and devices that are suitable to use in Thailand in order to replace imported materials from abroad and increase the quality of life of Thai people. There are research guidelines as follows.

• Tissue engineering and interactions between cells and materials at the in vitro level and in the body of living things
• Hydroxyapatite antibiotic carrier material
• The development of porous polyethylene prosthetic eye in Thailand
• New biodegradable bone hemostasis ointment
• Hemostatic products for external use
• Stretch fabric coated with silicone gel to heal scars
