Driving and Vehicle Technology Research Team
Driving and Vehicle Technology Research Team actively advances the engineering and development of automobiles through innovative design, rigorous analysis, thorough testing, and sophisticated mathematical modeling. Our practices foster innovation and overcome even the most formidable challenges in the automotive industry. Our work encompasses the three pillars of road safety: vehicles, drivers, and infrastructure.
The research team’s drive for innovation fuels a dynamic portfolio of research and development activities focused on enhancing the performance and features of vehicles and their components. These activities include:
- Conducting structural and component analysis through finite element analysis (FEA).
- Applying established industry specifications and standards as a framework for thorough and reliable testing and evaluation of vehicle performance in the field.
- Developing vehicle safety equipment, including side and rear impact protection devices and innovative roll cage structures to actively resist vehicle rollovers.
- Advancing road safety through innovation across vehicles, users, and infrastructure.
- Analyzing and evaluating steering, suspension, and anti-lock braking systems (ABS), especially in modified vehicles, to optimize performance and safety.
- Collect and analyze load data for component durability evaluation.
The team’s primary focus is threefold: enhancing the performance of automotive parts, developing innovative solutions to promote road safety, and providing insightful consultation to the industry.
