(The ARPT team works under supervision of Innovative Rubber Manufacturing Research Group (IRM) at the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC). The research directions are as follows
1. Research and development of knowledge, technology and innovation in the rubber-production process to produce higher safety products focusing on reduction or avoidance of toxic chemicals.
2. Research and development of knowledge, technology and innovation in the production process of personalized-purpose products by using rubber and industrial/agricultural waste
– Rubber processing technology for higher safety products
– Development of rubber compound for personalized products
– Adaptation or recycling of industrial waste in rubber products
– Radiation prevulcanization technology using electron Beam or UV radiation
– Development of thermoplastic natural rubber materials
– Insect-trap glue from Para rubber and natural ingredients
– Para Plearn: the prototype of safe innovative toys made of rubber that varies into 3 products, which are rubber for writing (Para Note), rubber clay (Para Dough), and rubber power like slime (Para Sand).
– TPNR cone
– Production of rubber products using 3D printing technology
– Mold-FREE manufacturing of natural rubber articles
– Development of rubber flooring products for aging society
– Peroxide-vulcanization of natural rubber latex
– Development of artificial skin from natural rubber latex
