MTEC, led by Dr. Sompong Srimanosaowapak, senior researcher of the Particulate Materials Processing Technology Research Team, Material Processing and Manufacturing Automation Research Group, and the project leader, organised a seminar to disseminate the results of research on “Truck-Mounted Attenuators for Road Service Vehicles” under the research project entitled “Development and Implementation of Waste-Filled Portable Crash Boxes for Crashworthiness Performance Improvement of Road Service Vehicles”. This project is funded by the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO) through the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC), and the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE), UK. From March 17-18, 2025, research team members from Cranfield University in the UK and West Bohemia University in Czech Republic, and a senior road safety specialist from the International Road Federation (IRF) visited Thailand aiming to disseminate the project results and give lectures on road safety and traffic management in work zones along with the project leader and representatives from the Department of Highways and the road contractor. Industrial visits were also arranged to gain further collaboration.

On March 17, 2025, at the SD 601 room, Multi-Purpose Building, Thailand Science Park, a seminar entitled “Truck-Mounted Attenuators for Road Service Vehicles” was organised. Six topics were presented as follows.
