Thailand, a leading economy in the Asia-Pacific region, is actively preparing its greenhouse gas emission data in line with the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) to ensure smooth trade with the European Union. The aluminum industry is the first group to provide complete data during the CBAM transition phase. These assessments will help establish a national CBAM baseline for trade negotiations and enhance competitiveness.
