Dr. Kritsada Prapakorn, the Deputy Executive Director of MTEC, and MTEC researchers had delivered a prototype of the Mobile Salon V.2 to Dr. Thanin Wechapinan, Director of Prasat Neurological Institute, Dr. Kullapat Veerasarn, and Dr. Wuttipong Tirakotai. The main objective of this equipment is to reduce the burden of the medical personnel from washing the hair of the bedridden patients.
The Mobile Salon V.2 is a result of the fruitful cooperation between the Design and Industry Solutions Research Team of the Engineering Design and Computation Research Group, MTEC and Prasat Neurological Institute in the testing of Mobile Salon V.1 with more than 100 patients. In the near future, MTEC and Prasat Neurological Institute plan to further develop a ready-to-use innovative prototype for commercial use.
