The National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) had organized a research exhibition in the 17th Bus & Truck 21 Exposition. The event was a platform for the entrepreneurs in the commercial vehicle business to present various products and services related to the government and private sectors’ transportation under the concept of “Smart Transportation”. This concept had connected various modern technology equipment and groundbreaking innovation of the bus and truck conforming to the government’s strategy “Smart City”.
In this event, MTEC had also presented two seminars. The topic of the 1st seminar was “design and engineering service for large vehicle safety” by Dr. Chi-na Benyajati, Research Team Leader of Lightweight Engineering Research Team, and Dr. Chadchai Srisurangkul, Senior Researcher of Design and Industry Solutions Research Team, Engineering Design and Computation Research Group. The topic of the 2nd seminar was “the preparation of the truck’s side and rear standards equipment” by Dr. Sarawut Lerspalungsanti, Research Team Leader, and Mr. Narong Pitaksapsin, Senior Engineer of Design and Industry Solutions Research Team, Engineering Design and Computation Research Group. These two seminars were well-received by diversified manufacturers, importers, and distributors.
