The National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), Thailand Energy Storage Technology Association (TESTA), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Electric Vehicle Association of Thailand (EVAT), and Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) had organized a Workshop on Mainstreaming Electric Mobility in Thailand: Baseline and Alternative Energy Solution at the 42nd Motor Show. In this event, Dr. Pimpa Limthongkul, President of TESTA, Energy Storage Technology Research Team Leader of ENTEC, and Representative Director of MTEC, together with Mr. Bert Fabian, UNEP Environmental Expert in the transportation sector had presided over the event and welcomed the participants.
Dr. Nuwong Chollacoop, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Research Team Leader of ENTEC, was the moderator of the workshop. There were lectures on the following topics: An Overview of National Standardization for Electric 2-wheelers, EGAT Demonstration of Electric Motorcycle and Battery Swapping Solution, Bangchak Winnonie Initiative, PTT ExpresSo Swap and go Initiative, and Baseline Scenario and Alternative Energy Solution of Two and Three Wheelers in Thailand.
