Dr. Julathep Kajornchaiyakul, Director of MTEC, together with Dr. Chanchana Thanachayanont, President of the Microscopy Society of Thailand, had presided over the opening ceremony of the 39th International Conference of Microscopy Society of Thailand (MST39) on March 30, 2022. The conference was hosted by MTEC and the Microscopy Society of Thailand during March 29-31, 2022 through an online platform.

       The MST39 conference consisted of 52 academic research presentations from both domestic and abroad, consisting of 2 sessions by experts, 13 topics by guest speakers, 14 lecture presentations,  23 poster presentations and 2 special topics.  In addition, there was a micrograph contest using Optical Microscopy (OM), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) or  Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) techniques, with 35 submitted works.
