On May 6, 2022, the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) held a farewell ceremomy for the research skills training program 2022. This training program had been conducted during March 14-May 5, 2022 at the laboratory of NSTDA to support the development of science and technology manpower in Thailand, build competitiveness, and create the country’s development. There were 32 students and teachers who are interested in materials science and technology from 25 schools across the country participating in the project. The participants had acquired research skills from various MTEC research teams, namely, Advanced Engineering System Research Team, Engineering Design and Computation Research Group, Biofunctional Materials and Devices Research Group, and Ceramics and Construction Materials Research Group.
Miss Siriwan Tantawechkij, Deputy Executive Director of Organization Management, said that this project was organized for students to acquire research skills and was a forum for exchanging knowledge and experiences gained from the research team. She would like to thank all participating research teams for sharing their knowledge and experiences with the students and teachers. With the dedication of both the research teams and all participants, it was assured that this project would be a part of building an understanding of the research profession and inspiration of today’s students to become an important workforce of the country’s science in the future.”
