On June 1st, 2022 at Tha Sae Industrial and Community Edu. College, Tha Sae District, Chumphon Province, Dr. Danu Prommin, Research Team Leader of Biomechanics Research Team of MTEC’s Biofunctional Materials and Devices Research Group organized a workshop on the application of M-Wheel, an electronic device to turn a normal wheelchair into a motorized wheelchair. There were 34 participants from various agencies in the communities joining this workshop, namely:
1. KMITL Prince of Chumphon
2. Ban Bangchak Health Center
3. Tha Sae College of Agriculture and Technology
4. The Sae Industrial and Community Edu. College
5. Chumphon College of Agriculture and Technology
6. Chumco Subdistrict Municipality
This workshop was organized to promote technology transfer to communities conforming to the “Holistic Area-based Community Development (HAB)” approach, based on the cooperation between the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), the Land Development Department, the Department of Local Administration, and Betagro Public Company Limited.
