MTEC welcomed NEO Factory Limited Company’s Personnel for Cooperation and Research Discussion

The National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) under the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) held a collaborative session and research dialogue with Ms. Nitchamon Thakolsri, Deputy CEO of Business Innovation, and the team from NEO Factory Limited Company. The session focused on discussing the company’s R&D strategies for collaborating with MTEC.

MTEC and the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning Sign Cooperation Agreement on Information Support for Sustainable Development Goal 12

Dr. Toemsak Srikirin, Director of the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), and Mr. Chidchanok Sukmongkhon, Deputy Secretary-General representing the Director’s Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP), had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to provide essential data for implementing Sustainable Development Goal 12 (Ensuring Sustainable Production and Consumption). The MOU signifies their commitment to achieving the goal of sustainable production and consumption. Dr. Nongnuch Poolsawad, Director of the Technology and Informatics Institute for Sustainability, and Miss Montana Siriwan, Director of the Strategy and Planning Division, witnessed the signing ceremony.

DIW Teams Up with Partners and Private Sector to Boost Academic Cooperation for Sustainable Industrial Waste Management and Green House Gas Emission Reduction

The Department of Industrial Works, in a landmark collaboration, has teamed up with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand, the Federation of Thai Industries, and key stakeholders such as Insee Superblock Limited, Insee Ecocycle Limited, the Center of Excellence on Hazardous Substance Management, Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., Eastern Silicate Co., Ltd. (ESL), and the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) to enhance academic partnerships. The primary objective of this initiative is to promote responsible utilization of industrial wastes, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, mitigating environmental impacts, and augmenting economic value.

MTEC partnered with CAD-IT Consultants (Asia) Pte Ltd, and Ansys Inc hosted a seminar, ‘Computer-Aided Engineering: A Strategic Weapon for Battles in the Business Continuity Game (BCG)’

Associate Professor Dr. Toemsak Srikhirin, Director of the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), National Science and Technology Agency (NSTDA), delivered the opening address at the seminar ‘Computer-Aided Engineering: A Key Weapon for BCG Battles.’ This event, organized by MTEC NSTDA in partnership with CAD-IT Consultants (Asia) Pte Ltd and Ansys Inc, was skillfully led by Mr. Pavee Noonpakdee, General Manager of CAD-IT Consultants (Asia) Pte Ltd.

MTEC, NSTDA Presents Research Accomplishment at the 37th “METALEX 2023”, SEA’s Most rominent achine Tools and Metalworking Exhibition

Dr. Toemsak Srikhirin, the Director of the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), joined the opening ceremony of “METALEX 2023,” the leading ASEAN machine tools and metalworking exhibition, its 37th edition. The event, organized by RX Tradex, was inaugurated by Dr. Nattaphon Rangsitphon, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry.

DPIM partners with MTEC for the second year of ‘CE Design in Action,’ promoting and developing entrepreneurs in Thai industries through circular economy principles.

A recent seminar by the Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM), Ministry of Industry and the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI) equipped Thai industries and entrepreneurs with Circular Economy knowledge and practical tools to implement it in their businesses. During the project’s second-year showcase, participants witnessed the successful implementation of CE principles (CE Design in Action).
