MTEC had participated in a seminar at The Wonders of Agriculture Fair to present “Magik Growth”
On October 31, 2021 at Matichon Academy, Bangkok, Dr. Natthaphop Sunnamek, Researcher of Textiles Research Team, Advanced Polymer Technology Research Group of MTEC, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Lampan Khurnpoon of Science Program in Plant Production Technology, School of Agricultural Technology, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, were invited speakers in an online seminar under the topic of “Durian: King of fruits and How to boost its productivity”. The seminar was organized by Technology Chaoban Magazine (นิตยสารเทคโนโลยีชาวบ้าน) and the online Sentansedtee magazine (เส้นทางเศรษฐีออนไลน์) of Matichon Group in the Wonders of Agriculture Fair and the Path to Prosperity Day (เกษตรมหัศจรรย์และวันเส้นทางเศรษฐี)” on October 29-31, 2021. The event was organized for the general public who are interested in adopting innovations in the agricultural industry. There were a lot of people interested and participated in the event.

On October 28, 2021 at the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC), Dr. Kritsada Prapakorn, Deputy Executive Director of MTEC, Dr. Sarawut Lerspalungsanti, Research Team Leader of Design and Industry Solutions Research Team, Engineering Design and Computation Research Group of MTEC, together with the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), and Suprera Innovation Co., Ltd. had delivered the ‘PETE’ Patient Isolation and Transportation Chamber to Kamphaeng Phet Hospital to support the medical personnel against COVID-19 and the ‘HI PETE’ Patient Isolation Chamber for Home Isolation to Mr. Parinya Laowachirawong, Secretary of Kamphaeng Phet Mayor, to use in the field hospitals in Kamphaeng Phet Municipality.
MTEC organized a workshop on M-Wheel installation in order to expand career opportunities for the communities in Nan Province
On October 27, 2021 at Wiangsa Industrial and Community Education College, Nan Province, the National Metal and Materials Technology Center (MTEC) and the Agricultural Technology and Innovation Management Institute (AGRITEC) had organized an workshop on the installation of M-Wheel, an electronic device to turn a normal wheelchair into a motorized wheelchair for the elderly and people with paraplegia of all ages.

Ms. Parnbua Boonparn, Managing Director of Matichon Public Co., Ltd, together with the executives of Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) had delivered 10 units of the ‘PETE’ Patient Isolation and Transportation Chamber to 5 major hospitals, namely the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Chulabhorn Hospital, Thammasat University Field Hospital, and the Golden Jubilee Medical Center, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, and Banphaeo General Hospital. This donation was part of the online health exhibition “Healthcare 2021 Thailand Vaccines” during August 18-22, 2021.
