DEVELOPMENT OF THE PRODUCTION NETWORK
OF CUSTOM-MADE SHOES FOR THE ELDERLY
Background
Foot pain and fitness of shoes are critical issues for a lot of people. The problems can arise from various causes, such as choosing the wrong shoes, doing inappropriate activities or having improper foot pressure distribution. The demand for health footwear products is steadily increasing. This work focuses on the development of the production network for custom-made insoles and shoes. A digital platform, especially, the cloud data system for assessment and design of the products has been developed. Distributing shoes and collecting the data forcomparing between customized insoles and flat insoles.
