You can basically shop for anytime you want from 10.00am to 10.00pm for regular shops and there are nightmarkets carry on even after this time.    For those who like outdoor activities, plenty activities such as golfing, jet skiing, rafting, or just lying on the beach can be found if not in Bangkok will just be very close by.  Or if your mood is on the cultural side, there are many cultural shows/ historical places opened for visitors in Bangkok including, the famous Grand Palace.
